About the Role

TIB-The Independent BankersBank, N.A. is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Associate to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our cardholders, resolving their inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering Incoming Calls: Respond to incoming calls from cardholders, addressing their service inquiries or requests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Outbound Calls: Place outbound calls to cardholders as needed to resolve inquiries or service requests.
  • Processing Cardholder Requests: Process cardholder requests received through written or electronic correspondence.
  • Partnering with the Bank Support Team: Collaborate with the bank support team to resolve cardholder support inquiries received from partner banks on behalf of their customers.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Utilize knowledge of card processing platforms and internal applications to troubleshoot and resolve cardholder support inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Online Account Access Support: Assist cardholders with establishing online account access and provide ongoing support.
  • Payment and Statement Research: Serve as the cardholders' initial point of contact for payment or statement research requests.
  • Transaction Research and Reporting: Serve as the cardholders' initial point of contact for transaction research and reporting cards as lost/stolen.
  • Compliance and Confidentiality: Comply with all banking laws and regulations, and maintain the confidentiality of bank and customer information.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Basic Accounting Experience: Required.
  • Good Oral and Written Communication Skills: Required.
  • Good Telephone Customer Service Skills: Required.
  • Ability to Thrive in a Team Environment: Required.
  • Ability to Remain Flexible and Adapt Quickly: Required.
  • 10-Key by Touch: Required.
  • Software: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); FDR: Required.
  • 1 Year of Bankcard/Customer Service Experience in a Call Center Environment: Preferred.
