Job Summary

The Project Superintendent will be responsible for the timely and cost-effective placement of the entire project's contracted work in the field. This individual will supervise sub-contractors and craft workers, ensuring that work is performed efficiently, profitably, and safely, in accordance with contract documents and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of sub-contractors and craft workers to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of the project.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with contract documents, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with sub-contractors to review progress and plan work.
  • Manage labor costs and ensure that all work is performed within budget.
  • Assume responsibility for the productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
  • Plan, coordinate, and perform all work to ensure safety.
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Working Conditions

The Project Superintendent will work in a construction setting, with frequent travel required. The individual must be able to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for long periods, lift and hold more than 50 lbs, talk, hear, and occasionally sit. The individual must also be able to withstand confined spaces and extreme heights while negotiating tasks in a safe manner.

Requirements

  • High School or GED and 10 years of experience as a Craft Supervisor or Superintendent on similar projects.
  • Strong leadership and good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prefer a Four-year degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or Engineering.

What We Offer

Caddell Construction offers a competitive salary range of $88,500 - $132,700 annually, with the opportunity for a market premium addition to the base salary. The company honors the prior experience, education, and qualifications of applicants to make attractive and competitive offers.
