Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Senior Helpers - New Albany. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, providing personalized care and support to help them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with medication management, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Engage clients in activities that promote mental and physical stimulation, such as exercise, games, and conversation
  • Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to our office staff
  • Work collaboratively with our office staff to develop and implement personalized care plans for each client

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
