About the Role:

Macy's is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Customer Experience Manager to lead our team and drive sales growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for building a productive and enthusiastic team that delivers exceptional customer experiences and exceeds sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance and customer engagement
  • Conduct regular talent analysis and establish career progression plans for key team members
  • Manage selling support, including stockroom, signing, equipment, and merchandising
  • Support other operational areas, such as OMNI and Asset Protection
  • Interview, hire, train, coach, and develop direct and indirect reports
  • Work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5+ years of management experience in a department or retail store
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite and handheld devices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking around the store or department
  • Reach with hands and arms, use hands to press, handle, and feel
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Requires close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
