About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Community Safety Services Specialist to join our team at St. Anthony Foundation. As a key member of our Community Safety team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests, staff, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and anticipate potential safety and security problems, and respond promptly to prevent or defuse them.
  • Respond to emergency calls and safely deal with or assist in dealing with any emergency situations.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness of one's surroundings at all times and observe and identify unusual/irregular occurrences that may require closer examination.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team success and maintain a safe work environment for all.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies and high-pressure situations in a self-composed and self-assured manner.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours and days, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to complete paperwork neatly and legibly.
  • Ability to remain awake and aware during all scheduled shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with conflict de-escalation skills and Crisis Prevention training.
  • C.P.R./First Aid certification.
  • Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish, Mandarin, Tagalog, or Cantonese.
