Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is tasked with overseeing the complete recruitment cycle to fulfill Climate Pros' staffing objectives. This includes developing local and national hiring strategies, employing conventional sourcing methods, and investigating creative recruitment approaches. The Specialist is pivotal in ensuring that we attract top-tier talent. They manage all facets of the hiring process, including collaborating with management to comprehend current job vacancies, handling applications, coordinating pre-screening and in-person interviews, organizing hiring discussions, and formulating and extending job offers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to thoroughly understand their recruitment needs for each position and meet hiring expectations.
- Oversee the complete recruitment process for various open positions, including field support and SG A roles, by assisting managers in sourcing, hiring, and retaining high-quality candidates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with qualified candidates through a database, which can be utilized to fill positions as they arise.
- Work with hiring managers, the HR team, and colleagues to refine and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
- Stay informed about job boards, social networks, and other recruitment sources to identify quality candidates.
- Research local markets to pinpoint relevant recruitment events in our industry, including connections with Local Union Halls.
- Enhance the organization's appeal by suggesting new policies and practices, monitoring job offers and compensation structures, and highlighting benefits and perks.
- Achieve human resources and organizational objectives by completing related tasks as necessary.
- Encourage current employees to refer acquaintances for job openings and support our employee referral program.
- As a recruiter, you will be accountable for achieving quarterly objectives known as "Rocks," which are directly linked to your role in the hiring process.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment.
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Union Recruiting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and negotiation abilities.
- Applicants should have prior experience in designing and executing various sourcing plans and tools.
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches or projects.
- Self-sufficient and capable of working with minimal direct supervision in a remote environment.
- Proficient in computer usage and quick to learn new software.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, ADP Workforce Now, Recruiting Management Systems, or any ATS, as well as MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, and Zoom.
- Must be a trustworthy team player, growth-oriented, and willing to do whatever it takes to succeed.
Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk; occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds; noise level is typically moderate. All employees may be required to visit a customer site and/or accompany a field technician as part of their employment.
