Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement residents' care plans and meticulously document any changes in their health status in accordance with community guidelines.
  • Interpret residents' medical records, physician directives, and personalized care strategies.
  • Comply with all federal and state regulations applicable to long-term care facilities.
  • Maintain standard safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations.
  • Provide compassionate and respectful services to residents and their families.

By ensuring a clean and safe environment, you contribute to the health and safety of both residents and staff.

Daily Activities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities while prioritizing their safety and comfort, under the guidance of a licensed nurse.
  • Perform tasks such as monitoring vital signs, bathing, dressing, grooming, and assisting with toileting needs.
  • Respond promptly to resident requests and support the team by attending to additional residents as necessary.

Help residents with mobility and positioning in accordance with their care plans, utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure their safety.

  • Ensure residents are well-groomed and receive the necessary care.
  • Support rehabilitative nursing activities, including mobility exercises and ambulation.
