Position Overview

We are seeking an Admissions Specialist to join our dedicated team. The Admissions Specialist plays a crucial role in managing new admissions and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for prospective clients. This position requires individuals who are adept at sales and can effectively communicate the range of programs and services available at AMFM Healthcare, assessing whether our offerings align with the needs of clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inquiries from potential clients, determining their suitability for the programs at AMFM Healthcare.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Admissions and departmental leaders to facilitate the enrollment process for new clients.
  • Act as a referral source for clients needing to transition out of the program.
  • Encourage alumni engagement and maintain connections with former clients.
  • Serve as an advocate for clients, acting as a liaison between them, their families, and the clinical team.
  • Attend all admissions department meetings and contribute to discussions.
  • Maintain accurate records of admissions data and report monthly findings.
  • Manage assigned caseloads and ensure all responsibilities are met in a timely manner.
  • Ensure clients are fully informed about the program they are entering and the transition process.
  • Document all necessary information in Salesforce, adhering to company protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to pass a federal DOJ LiveScan or a standard background check for administrative roles.
  • Proven ability to perform essential job functions effectively, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent multitasking skills paired with strong communication abilities and a positive demeanor.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues across various departments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the clinical and medical services provided to clients.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Quickbooks, CollaborateMD, Gsuite products, and Salesforce CRM.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of professional correspondence.
  • A minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent educational background.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 20 lbs.
