Key Responsibilities:
  • Make strategic decisions regarding maintenance operations.
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of equipment and production processes.
  • Oversee and mentor mechanics, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades personnel.
  • Provide expert technical and engineering guidance to enhance facility performance.
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) effectively.
  • Employ CAD software to gather data and design custom modifications to equipment.
  • Select and manage vendors for equipment procurement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Facilitate the installation and commissioning of new equipment and processes.
  • Develop innovative strategies to reduce operational costs.
  • Supervise changes in equipment design.
  • Monitor and manage energy consumption.
  • Research and justify alteration requests.
  • Negotiate and oversee contracted maintenance work.
  • Authorize, delegate, and track maintenance work orders, ensuring preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the facility and its operations.
  • Complete and verify administrative tasks.
  • Communicate departmental projects and updates to plant management.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance.
  • Demonstrated innovation, strong technical and mechanical acumen, and exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or possess authorization to work in the United States.
