  • Facility Upkeep: Maintain cleanliness and organization in all storage and mechanical areas, and assist with waste management.
  • Building Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of both interior and exterior areas of the community, ensuring a pleasant environment.
  • Inventory Control: Keep track of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for ongoing tasks.
  • Construction and Repairs: Utilize hand and power tools to construct, repair, and maintain various structures and components as needed.
  • Landscaping Duties: Participate in grounds maintenance, including mowing, planting, and general landscaping tasks.
  • Safety Compliance: Engage in safety protocols and fire control measures to uphold Life and Safety Codes.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Assist in the upkeep and inspection of company vehicles.
Qualifications

Education: A high school diploma or GED is required. Formal training in a trade such as HVAC or Electrical Installation is preferred, although extensive experience may be considered.

Experience: A minimum of five years in a maintenance role, with at least two years in a healthcare environment.

Certifications: Ability to obtain certification from the State of Refrigeration Examiners for refrigerant handling is necessary. A valid driver's license is also required, along with the ability to meet insurance standards.
