Key Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will:
1. Make strategic decisions regarding maintenance management.
2. Gain in-depth knowledge of equipment and manufacturing processes.
3. Train and oversee skilled trades personnel including mechanics, electricians, and plumbers.
4. Provide expert technical and engineering advice to enhance facility performance.
5. Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for effective operations.
6. Employ CAD software to design and implement custom modifications to equipment.
7. Select and manage vendors for equipment procurement.
8. Troubleshoot mechanical systems and processes.
9. Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
10. Innovate cost-reduction strategies.
11. Supervise design changes to equipment.
12. Monitor and manage energy consumption.
13. Research and justify alteration requests.
14. Negotiate and supervise contract work.
15. Authorize and track maintenance work orders, ensuring preventive maintenance schedules are met.
16. Ensure the safety and security of the facility.
17. Complete necessary administrative tasks and communicate project updates to management.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Maintenance Engineering.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
3. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with excellent communication and leadership skills.
4. Flexibility to transition to different shifts every 12-18 months.
5. Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or authorized to work in the U.S.
6. No sponsorship for employment visas will be provided.
