Job Title: Security Operations Manager

Ohio Support Services is seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Manager to join our team. As a Security Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily security operations of our facilities, ensuring the safety and security of our employees, customers, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure efficient task completion.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to safeguard the organization and its assets.
  • Conduct regular security assessments to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Respond to security breaches or incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Liaise with law enforcement and other stakeholders during security emergencies.
  • Train and educate security personnel on protocols and emergency response plans.
  • Inspect security equipment to ensure proper functioning and upkeep.
  • Investigate security incidents and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership and supervision skills, with a track record of inspiring and efficiently managing teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to analyze complex security issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Expertise in security principles, including risk assessment, threat analysis, and emergency response planning.
  • Proficiency in operating security technology, such as CCTV, access control systems, and alarms.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a composed demeanor during high-pressure situations.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant security laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
