RPMGlobal is in search of a dedicated Facility Operations and Security Coordinator who is eager to advance into the role of Facility Security Officer (FSO).
As part of our operational team, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Management Official (SMO) to assist in managing the facility and supporting employees with all administrative and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Support daily office and facility operations.
Engage with various external government and industry entities.
Order and manage office supplies through a corporate account.
Oversee the management of office keys and access controls.
Facilitate the onboarding of new hires and the offboarding of departing employees.
Coordinate routine facility tasks such as maintenance requests, visitor logs, and standard office procedures, ensuring overall facility management.
Handle miscellaneous office-related purchases.As you transition into the FSO role within your first year, you will:
Conduct orientations, briefings, and debriefings for new hires.
Maintain security documentation in SIMS, along with other electronic and physical records.
Ensure the accreditation of classified areas.
Process security clearance forms and updates.
Administer daily security operations for the facility in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program.
Coordinate necessary fingerprinting processes.
Assist the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) with regular audits.
Support classified contracts to fulfill established security protocols such as processing access requests and visit authorizations.
Collaborate with Project Managers to address their security needs.Prepare necessary courier authorization documentation.
Conduct and monitor travel briefings, ensuring compliance with foreign travel regulations.
Access and manage security systems and government accounts as required.
Perform self-assessments of security operations to guarantee compliance, reporting findings to senior management and uploading results into the appropriate systems.
Manage incoming and outgoing visit requests.Schedule and oversee sensitive meetings.
Assist in maintaining a company-wide security training program and manage training records.
Monitor and respond to daily security inquiries, including clearance verifications.
Execute document control processes in line with security regulations.
Facilitate the secure destruction of materials as per established procedures.
Provide support to employees regarding personal issues that may impact their security clearance.
Monitor for phishing attempts and coordinate responses as necessary.
Investigate and report security violations in accordance with corporate policies.
Prepare for periodic reviews by security agencies.
Some travel may be required.
Required Qualifications:
Due to the sensitive nature of the position, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
A minimum of a High School diploma with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
Selected candidates will undergo a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information, including an active Secret clearance with the potential to achieve a Top Secret clearance.
A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively are essential.
Self-motivated individuals with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively will excel in this role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail are required.A strong focus on meeting both internal and external client needs is essential.
Proficient problem-solving abilities are necessary.
A professional, detail-oriented approach is expected.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the NISPOM Rule and Industrial Security Regulations.
Experience with DCSA procedures.
Completion of the FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Course.
Experience with DISS, NISS, and eQIP.
COMSEC training is required within the first year.
Understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Assessment and Authorization processes.
Ability to perform project management tasks and collaborate with project leaders.
Capability to conduct reporting activities to communicate project status effectively.
A technical background and relevant experience are advantageous.
