Job Overview

MK Services is expanding its operations and is currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler to enhance our 1st shift workforce. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a highly skilled team.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly Duties:
  • Assemble mechanical parts in accordance with blueprints, engineering specifications, and detailed work instructions.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to fit, align, and secure components effectively.
  • Conduct precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
  • Execute functional tests on assembled units to verify operational integrity.
Quality Assurance:
  • Inspect components and assemblies for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve assembly challenges, implementing necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of assembly processes and quality assessments.
Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, supervisors, and fellow team members to address technical challenges.
  • Engage in team discussions to review project status and tackle any arising issues.
Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to foster a secure working environment.
  • Ensure alignment with industry regulations and company policies.
QualificationsEducation:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or an associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience:
  • Prior experience in mechanical assembly, ideally within the aerospace or defense sectors.
  • Knowledge of precision machining and assembly methodologies.
Skills:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
