Position Overview
The Electric Assembly Technician will play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of components to produce finished goods. You will work closely with your colleagues to uphold quality, efficiency, and safety throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting assembly instructions, technical schematics, and drawings
- Utilizing machinery and equipment essential for the assembly process
- Adhering to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards
- Identifying and documenting any production issues related to electrical and mechanical components
- Performing soldering and crimping tasks in the manufacturing of wire and cable harnesses
- Ensuring strict adherence to quality, occupational safety, and environmental regulations
- Implementing directives from quality/environmental management representatives and occupational safety specialists
- Experience in assembly, testing, and machinery operation within a manufacturing setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions, alongside general literacy and numeracy skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high precision and accuracy
