Role Responsibilities: The Oncology Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and overseeing all functions within the unit during designated shifts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with management to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in line with established policies and procedures.
  • Serving as a resource for staff and exemplifying a commitment to the organization's mission and values.
  • Assisting with patient admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient care delivery.
  • Participating in the ongoing evaluation of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
  • Implementing nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement and patient experience.
  • Providing input on hiring, training, and performance evaluations of new staff.
  • Managing staff scheduling and labor resources in accordance with patient care needs.
  • Overseeing inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
