Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse - Infusion Specialist to join our team at Northside Hospital. As a key member of our oncology department, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments to patients in an outpatient setting
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying and addressing symptoms and concerns
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and services
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on treatment options and self-care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the State of Georgia
- Minimum of two years of full-time experience as a RN in an infusion setting
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree or higher
- National Certification in Clinical Specialty
- Experience working in oncology or infusion settings
