Your role is crucial in impacting patient care. We seek a committed Lead Apheresis Nurse in Oncology to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities and QualificationsThe Lead Apheresis Nurse will exhibit advanced understanding of patient development, assessment, treatment protocols, and care for oncology patients, particularly those undergoing Stem Cell Transplantation and apheresis procedures. This role requires proficiency in technical skills and a commitment to customer service excellence.
Education:
Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of three years of clinical experience in hematology-oncology or apheresis is required.
Licensure/Certification:
Current RN licensure in Florida or an active compact license is mandatory. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, along with Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification within six months of hire and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification within one year.
