Business Development Manager

We're seeking a strategic Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and develop new business opportunities in the Western Washington commercial market. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in showcasing our capabilities and expanding our presence in the region.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for guiding and supporting engineers, estimators, project managers, and field personnel throughout project phases. With a focus on customer satisfaction, you'll ensure the quality and value of our services, driving high client satisfaction. If you have a proven track record in negotiating sales, achieving profit margins, and managing commitments successfully, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and support engineers, estimators, project managers, and field personnel throughout project phases
- Collaborate with staff and customers at all stages of projects
- Strengthen internal relationships across departments to foster seamless integration
- Sustain and enhance relationships with existing customers, increase sales volume and profit margins, and develop and acquire new customer accounts
Your Background
To succeed in this role, you'll need a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or mechanical engineering (preferred), as well as a minimum of 4 years of experience in selling or hands-on field experience with installing Building Controls within the Plan & Spec or Retrofit market. You'll also possess excellent verbal, written, listening, persuasion, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build constructive and effective relationships with customers, engineering teams, project managers, office personnel, and field staff.

This role offers a competitive base salary of $90,000 annually, plus commissions and vehicle compensation.
