Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $84,240 to $130,680, depending on location and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to comprehensive medical, financial, and other benefits.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Consultant to join our team as a member of our growing New Construction Mechanical division. As a Business Development Consultant, you will play a crucial role in building long-lasting relationships with clients and driving business growth through innovative strategies and solutions.

  • Develop and implement market strategies to drive business growth and expand client relationships.
  • Produce accurate estimates, assemble quality proposals, and demonstrate excellent written communication skills using McKinstry guidelines and proposal formats.
  • Analyze market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Partner with internal resources to ensure timely delivery of projects and meet client requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in sales engineering and business development.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or equivalent business experience.
  • Five years of experience in mechanical or electrical construction, engineering, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in sales leadership and closing deals.
