Position Overview:

The BCP Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the resilience of business operations through effective continuity planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate departmental business continuity strategies and business impact assessments to guarantee adherence to Mizuho's policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with departmental BCP representatives to refine and enhance their continuity plans.
  • Identify and recommend corrective actions for operational dependencies and resource interconnections across various divisions.
  • Manage Everbridge data by conducting weekly updates and ensuring comprehensive contact coverage.
  • Oversee RecoveryPlanner data maintenance, ensuring accurate identification of key personnel and updating essential resource information.
  • Document and maintain records of BCP-related meetings.
  • Conduct application reconciliations between RecoveryPlanner and other systems.
  • Support crisis management initiatives and incident response efforts.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Mizuho's operations and business processes.
  • Assist in organizing BCP exercises, monitoring, and addressing any identified issues.
  • Stay informed about current BCP methodologies and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in business continuity planning and impact analysis.
  • Background in the financial sector or a related field.
  • Familiarity with information technology principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues across the organization.
  • Capacity to work autonomously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

The anticipated base salary is competitive, with offers reflecting a variety of factors including relevant skills, experience, and education. In addition to salary, a comprehensive benefits package is available, along with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
