We are seeking a Business Continuity Planner with expertise in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Planning, Data Center Implementation, and Information Systems Security. This role is critical in ensuring organizational resilience and operational stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery strategies for various systems, ensuring integration with other operational frameworks.
  • Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to formulate effective business continuity plans that address all critical aspects of operations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and business impact analyses to inform strategy selection and documentation.
  • Plan and execute regular mock-disaster exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of existing plans, making necessary updates to procedures.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for continuity initiatives following any disruption events.
  • Engage in highly technical and supervisory responsibilities related to business continuity planning, providing expert guidance and solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Establish emergency management protocols to facilitate recovery decision-making and ensure continuity of essential processes.
  • Test and validate documented disaster recovery strategies to ensure preparedness.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing disaster recovery plans for critical asset locations.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess risks and impacts on essential business functions.
  • Ability to create and maintain effective communication channels during crises.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and business continuity exercises.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and data recovery technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • A degree in a relevant field such as Business Continuity Management or Risk Management.
