Position Summary:
This hybrid role will operate from either the Charlotte NC or Cleveland OH office, providing support to both CES Call Center locations and requiring travel between them. The Senior HR Generalist will collaborate with designated field operations client groups on personnel-related initiatives, developing and executing strategies that align with business objectives while partnering with UGI Centers of Expertise (COEs) to advance the HR agenda. The role will also involve supporting various projects and processes for the AmeriGas team, including employee onboarding, organizational effectiveness, talent management, and other related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture strong working relationships with field operations, business leaders, HR leaders, and other HR Business Partners; serve as a liaison with HR Centers of Expertise (COE) and Leveraged Services for optimal client support.
  • Provide daily HR support, onboarding, and performance management guidance to client groups, including coaching, counseling, career development, and handling disciplinary and compensation actions.
  • Lead HR initiatives for AmeriGas employees, acting as a change agent to position HR as the voice of the organization and helping stakeholders understand and embrace change.
  • Assess and effectively resolve employee relations issues, while also evaluating and developing strategies for emerging trends.
  • Assist the HR team with interim projects and other significant initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Strong ethics and integrity; ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to effectively influence stakeholders to facilitate sound decision-making.
  • Experience in driving alignment and adoption of cross-functional Human Resource programs, processes, and initiatives is preferred.
  • Proven ability to engage directly with client leads to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively, and foster cultural change.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role within a corporate environment.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
