As a Full-Time B2B Sales Consultant, you will be instrumental in the daily operations of our store while simultaneously nurturing and expanding relationships with both existing and prospective business clients to enhance sales performance. You will serve as a reliable hardware consultant and advisor, ensuring that our business customers receive the support they need for their supply requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement:
    Create a welcoming and memorable experience for all customers. Engage with clients throughout their visit, addressing inquiries and assisting them in finding the right solutions and products. Exhibit a friendly and cooperative demeanor with both customers and team members. Handle all communications with professionalism and courtesy. Showcase extensive product knowledge to provide tailored service that meets diverse business needs.
  • Business Growth:
    Master the process of identifying and converting B2B leads into valuable business accounts. Maintain ongoing communication with the Corporate Business to Business Leader. Build and nurture positive relationships with potential and existing business clients. Educate customers on the benefits of our products and services, aligning them with their specific needs. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to remain a trusted resource for our clients. Facilitate special orders and manage product sourcing efficiently. Train and motivate store staff on their roles in B2B sales and collaborate with store leadership to enhance team performance. Provide direct support and effective communication with Nyberg's Outside Sales B2B Partners.
  • Operational Excellence:
    Work closely with the operations team to ensure the store's merchandise presentation is appealing, organized, and well-stocked. Collaborate with colleagues to guarantee a seamless shopping experience for all customers. Contribute to maintaining a safe and professional work environment. Participate in merchandising resets and ensure signage is current. Assist Department Heads with pricing adjustments and special orders. Uphold a professional appearance in accordance with store dress code policies. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education required; further relevant education is a plus.
  • Proven sales experience, ideally with retail and/or business clientele.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain client relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer service.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Flexibility to work independently and adapt to varying schedules.
  • Proficiency in various computer applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and climb.
