As a Full-Time B2B Sales Consultant, you will be instrumental in the daily operations of the store while also focusing on building, nurturing, and sustaining strong relationships with both existing and prospective business clients to enhance sales performance. Acting as a reliable hardware advisor, you will establish yourself as a trusted partner to our clientele, ensuring their supply requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement:
    Provide an outstanding and memorable experience for all customers.
    Welcome and assist customers throughout their visit, addressing inquiries and proactively helping them find the right solutions and products.
    Exhibit a friendly and cooperative demeanor with both customers and team members.
    Handle all communications professionally and courteously.
    Showcase extensive product knowledge and deliver personalized service tailored to diverse business needs.
  • Business Growth:
    Become adept at identifying and converting B2B leads into active business accounts.
    Maintain ongoing communication with the Corporate Business Development Leader.
    Foster and develop positive relationships with potential, new, and existing business clients.
    Educate clients on the benefits of our products and services, identifying how we can fulfill their requirements.
    Stay updated on industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activities to remain a credible resource for our clients.
    Facilitate special orders and manage product sourcing efficiently.
    Train and motivate store staff on their roles in B2B interactions, collaborating with the store leader for effective coaching.
    Provide direct support and maintain effective communication with Nyberg's Outside Sales B2B Partners.
  • Operational Excellence:
    Work closely with the operations team to ensure the store's merchandise is presented attractively, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
    Collaborate with team members to guarantee a seamless shopping experience for all customers, whether they are business or individual clients.
    Contribute to maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
    Participate in merchandising resets and ensure signage is current.
    Assist Department Heads with pricing updates and special orders.
    Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the store's dress code policies.
    Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education is required; additional relevant education is preferred.
  • Proven sales experience, particularly with retail and/or business clients.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adept at building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Flexibility to work independently and adapt to varying schedules.
  • Proficiency in various computer applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and climb.
