Work Environment
Adtalem champions a culture of collaboration, creativity, and innovation, thriving in flexible work arrangements. Depending on your location, this role may be hybrid or remote.

HYBRID – For those residing within 50 miles of Adtalem offices, this position requires in-office presence three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), with the remaining days working from home.

REMOTE – For individuals living beyond 50 miles from Adtalem offices, this role is remote, though occasional office visits may be necessary based on business requirements, with prior notice provided.


Position Overview
The Senior Licensing & Accreditation Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditor regulations across all institutions and business units. This includes obtaining and maintaining the necessary approvals to operate, confer degrees, and recruit in relevant jurisdictions.

The Senior Analyst also provides guidance to each ATGE institution regarding regulatory policies, standards, processes, and guidelines.


Key Responsibilities
  • Execute all analyst responsibilities as required.
  • Collaborate with relevant business owners to collect necessary data and materials for applications and reports.
  • Guarantee the compliant and timely submission of all application materials.
  • Maintain essential databases and resources to perform assigned tasks effectively.
  • Analyze current and proposed regulations, assess institutional implications, present findings to leadership, and recommend solutions.
  • Engage in special projects as needed and perform related duties as assigned.
  • May mentor new colleagues based on experience.
  • Maintain relevant regulatory heat maps.
  • Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support the assessment of new institutional initiatives requiring regulatory approvals and prioritize workflows accordingly.
  • Assist the Manager in evaluating the implications of current and proposed regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all policies and standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a federal/state regulated environment is required.
  • Experience in higher education licensing or accreditation is preferred.
  • Proficient in gathering and analyzing diverse data types and communicating information effectively.
  • A motivated self-starter capable of completing projects and tasks independently and on schedule.
  • General computing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software are required.
  • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic and superb proofreading abilities.
  • Ability to engage with senior leadership and external agencies professionally.
  • Writing samples are required.

Additional Information

The expected salary range for this position is between $49,199 and $86,253, adjusted based on job-related factors such as experience, training, geographic location, and departmental budgets.
