Work Environment

HYBRID – For those residing within 50 miles of Adtalem offices, this role requires office presence three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), with the remaining days working from home.

Position Overview
The Senior Licensing & Accreditation Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditor requirements across all institutions and business units. This includes obtaining and maintaining the necessary approvals to operate, grant degrees, and recruit in all relevant jurisdictions.

The Senior Analyst also provides guidance to each ATGE institution regarding regulatory policies, standards, processes, and guidelines.


Key Responsibilities
  • Execute all analyst responsibilities as required.
  • Collaborate with relevant business owners to gather essential data and materials for application and report completion.
  • Ensure timely and compliant submission of all application materials.
  • Maintain databases and resource materials pertinent to assigned tasks.
  • Analyze current and proposed regulations, presenting findings to leadership and recommending solutions.
  • Engage in special assignments as needed and perform related duties as assigned.
  • May mentor new colleagues based on experience.
  • Oversee the maintenance of relevant regulatory heat maps.
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support the assessment of new institutional initiatives requiring regulatory approvals and prioritize the workflow for obtaining these approvals.
  • Assist the Manager in evaluating the institutional implications of current or proposed regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all policies and standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a regulated environment is required.
  • Preferred experience in higher education licensing or accreditation.
  • Proficient in gathering and analyzing various data types and effectively communicating information in prescribed formats.
  • A motivated self-starter capable of completing projects and tasks independently and efficiently.
  • General computing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software are required.
  • Exceptional organizational, oral and written communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic and superb proofreading abilities.
  • Ability to engage with senior leadership and external agencies professionally.
  • Writing samples are required.

Additional Information

The expected salary range for this position is between $49,199 and $86,253, adjusted based on job-related factors such as experience, training, geographic location, licensure, certifications, market factors, departmental budgets, and responsibilities.
