Work Environment
Adtalem champions a culture rooted in collaboration, creativity, and innovation, thriving in flexible work arrangements. Depending on your location, this role may be hybrid or remote.

HYBRID – For those residing within 50 miles of Adtalem offices, this position requires in-office presence three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), with the remaining days working from home.

REMOTE – For individuals living beyond 50 miles from our offices, this role is remote, though occasional office visits may be necessary based on business needs, with prior communication provided.


Position Overview
The Senior Licensing & Accreditation Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditor regulations across all institutions and business units. This includes obtaining and maintaining the necessary approvals to operate, confer degrees, and recruit in all relevant jurisdictions.

The Senior Analyst also provides guidance to each Adtalem institution regarding regulatory policies, standards, processes, and guidelines.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all analyst duties as required.
  • Collaborate with relevant business owners to collect necessary data and materials for applications and reports.
  • Ensure timely and compliant submission of all application materials.
  • Maintain databases and resource materials essential for assigned tasks.
  • Review and evaluate the institutional implications of current and proposed regulations, presenting analyses to leadership and recommending solutions.
  • Engage in special assignments as needed and perform related duties as assigned.
  • May mentor new colleagues based on experience.
  • Maintain relevant regulatory heat maps.
  • Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support the assessment of new institutional initiatives requiring regulatory approvals and prioritize the work stream for obtaining those approvals.
  • Assist management in evaluating the implications of current, proposed, and new regulations.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all policies and standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a regulated environment is required.
  • Experience in higher education licensing or accreditation is preferred.
  • Proficient in gathering and analyzing various data types and communicating information effectively.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of completing projects and tasks independently and on schedule.
  • General computing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software are required.
  • Exceptional organizational, oral and written communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent proofreading abilities.
  • Ability to engage with senior leadership and external agencies professionally.
  • Writing samples may be requested.

Additional Information

The expected salary range for this position is between $49,199 and $86,253, with actual pay adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, including experience, training, geographic location, licensure, certifications, market factors, departmental budgets, and responsibilities.
