What are we seeking in our Compliance Analyst?

Russell Tobin & Associates is collaborating with a financial services organization to find a Compliance Analyst specializing in Anti-Money Laundering.

Employment Type: Contract/Hybrid

Compensation: $25-$30/hr, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act regulations by identifying and investigating potentially suspicious activities.
  • Evaluate customer Know Your Customer (KYC) profiles to determine necessary remediation actions.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop procedures for identifying specific remediation steps related to KYC.
  • Offer guidance and support to business units regarding customer AML risk assessments and account activities.
  • Assess investigation outcomes to determine if a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) needs to be submitted to federal authorities for any detected suspicious activities.
  • Work in partnership with internal teams, financial institutions, and governmental bodies to gather and analyze relevant information.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in KYC data collection or onboarding remediation.
  • High school diploma required.
