Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist is a vital member of the Facility Franklin Community Health Network team, responsible for providing diagnostic, rehabilitative, consultative, and counseling services to individuals with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Our patient population spans across neonate, pediatric, adult, adolescent, and geriatric age groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication, cognitive, and swallowing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • License/Certifications: Current CPR certification, National Certification/Registration, and State of Maine SLP license.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a collaborative working environment.
