Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary:

Soliant Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Farmington, Minnesota. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with patients to diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders, helping them achieve improved quality of life through targeted therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans to address identified needs and goals.
  • Therapeutic Intervention: Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and strategies to improve communication and swallowing function.
  • Education and Counseling: Provide education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and swallowing techniques.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Licensure: Current Minnesota state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience: Experience in an educational setting is preferred, with a focus on conducting IEPs within a school setting.
  • Skills: Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
