Job Summary

Haun Welding Supply and Specialty Gases is seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and supporting our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and Assist Visitors: Welcome clients, vendors, and other visitors to our office, providing a professional and friendly first impression.
  • Answer and Direct Calls: Respond to incoming calls, direct calls to the appropriate department, and take messages as needed.
  • Manage Mail and Packages: Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail and packages to the relevant departments.
  • Order and Maintain Office Supplies: Assist in ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing office supplies to ensure a well-stocked and organized workspace.
  • Support Purchasing and Credit Departments: Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, record-keeping, and filing, to support our purchasing and credit departments.
  • Perform Other Administrative Duties: Assist with tasks such as faxing, photocopying, and scanning documents as needed.

Requirements:

  • Administrative Experience: Prior experience in a front desk, administrative, or office role is required.
  • Education: High school education or equivalent is required.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Positive Attitude: A positive attitude, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
