Audit Services Overview
Our experienced audit team builds long-term relationships with clients based on trust and timely service. Role Summary
The Manager is accountable for overseeing their specialty areas, including the management of tax return completion, year-end compilations, audits, and other intricate accounting projects. Proficiency in relevant accounting functions and quality control is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client and firm operations.
  • Manage complex audit engagements and billing processes.
  • Conduct audits under the supervision of a shareholder.
  • Possess a strong understanding of GASB, FASB, GAS, and GAGAS standards.
  • Develop expertise in specific accounting areas such as budgeting and information systems.
  • Delegate and oversee complex audits and other functions performed by staff, ensuring quality control.
  • Utilize technical expertise to contribute to JCCS committees and lead teams.
  • Adhere to established work hours and billing expectations, with flexibility for additional hours as needed.
  • Engage in marketing initiatives to attract new clients and promote firm services.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed CPA in accordance with state regulations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years in public accounting.

Skills for Success:

  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly spreadsheets.
  • Ability to solve problems independently and think critically.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
