Job Summary

The Route Sales Representative plays a crucial role in meeting customer needs through up-selling and cross-selling, while providing exceptional customer service by proactively managing all route responsibilities. This position requires a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results-driven sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solicit new customers and ensure a profitable product mix
  • Actively participate in promotions and contests, training, and audits
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer installation, management, and service
  • Ensure customer loyalty, retention, and provide outstanding customer service
  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle on each trip, following all applicable laws and company policy
  • Handle and process customer payments, maintain route paperwork, and ensure timely and correct deliveries
  • Monitor and report competitive activity, keep service agreements current, and renewed
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license, CDL when applicable
  • Excellent skills in customer service and route sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to comprehend and follow direction, good time management skills, and team player
  • Recognize colors, sizes, and types of product, count, add, and subtract accurately
