Job Summary:

The Route Sales Representative plays a vital role in meeting customer needs through up-selling and cross-selling, while providing exceptional customer service by proactively managing all route responsibilities. This position requires a strong ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solicit new customers and ensure a profitable product mix
  • Actively participate in promotions and contests, training, and audits
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer installation, management, and service
  • Ensure customer loyalty and retention through outstanding customer service
  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle and maintain vehicle cleanliness
  • Handle and process customer payments and maintain accurate route paperwork
  • Ensure timely and correct deliveries of complete textile loads and maintain proper inventories
  • Monitor and report competitive activity and keep service agreements current

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and CDL when applicable
  • Excellent driving record and safe driving experience
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Ability to comprehend and follow direction, as well as good time management skills
  • High school graduation or similar experience
