Software Developer II Job Description

At Frontwave Credit Union, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer II to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality custom software code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct system analysis and gather, interpret, and analyze complex user requirements to complete software design, development, testing, installation, and support for applications that satisfy those requirements.
  • Design, develop, test, maintain, and support high-quality custom software code using various programming languages and/or tools, such as Java, JavaScript, C#, SQL, etc.
  • Review internal processes, formal requests, and organization initiatives as part of formal project development.
  • Periodically review applications and provide necessary updates and modifications.
  • Create technical documentation related to the custom software.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience of software development experience creating and maintaining software is required.
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C#, C++, or similar.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and translating business requirements to computer software with limited direction and guidance.
