Job Title: Java Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Engineer to join our team. As a Java Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications using Java and related technologies. You will work closely with our team of experienced engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java programming, as well as experience with related technologies such as Gradle, IntelliJ, and Git. You will also have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test software applications using Java and related technologies
  • Work closely with our team of experienced engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java and related technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software solutions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
  • 3 years of experience in programming, engineering, or related work
  • Proficiency in Java, C++, or similar object-oriented programming language
  • Version control systems, such as Git
  • Build tools, such as Gradle or Maven
  • Experience driving technical decisions, including the ability to break down problems, identify solutions, and communicate the process and conclusions to an engineering team
  • Initiative and the ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively via multiple mediums and with management, co-workers, and customers, both technical and non-technical
  • Proficiency in writing clean code and leveraging best practices for implementation, documentation, and testing
  • The ability to obtain a US security clearance post start date. U.S. Citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Ability to travel at least one week per quarter
