Job Overview

Compensation: $254 per weekend

POSITION SUMMARY:

The role involves providing outstanding service to guests, acting as a bridge between the guest group and the operational team at Forest Home. Hosts will reside on-site during events, including overnight stays, assisting groups with information, resolving issues, ensuring safety, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Non-Exempt

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver unparalleled hospitality to guest groups throughout their stay.
  • Facilitate check-in processes and ensure all necessary documentation is collected.
  • Offer spiritual support to group leaders during events.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for group leaders and attendees during retreats.
  • Communicate announcements and safety protocols to leaders and attendees.
  • Assist operational staff as required.
  • Manage the checkout process for all guest groups.
  • Provide comprehensive feedback on events to the Reservations department.
  • Perform light cleaning duties as needed while serving guests.
  • Remain available for follow-up communication during the week post-event.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.

SUPERVISORY ROLE: This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands for this role include regular standing, walking, and sitting. Mild physical tasks may involve lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 20 pounds. Visual acuity is necessary for reading and communication.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment may expose employees to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dust, and moderate noise levels.
