Job Title: Venue Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating venue pricing packages, securing bookings, liaising with event managers and clients, and coordinating the logistics of events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all bookings for events and liaise with clients to determine event requirements.
  • Prepare venue hire packages and pricing options, and negotiate with clients.
  • Supervise all staff, including bartenders, event staff, and other personnel.
  • Manage all maintenance and repairs of the venue grounds, property, equipment, and facilities.
  • Ensure the venue and facilities are clean and organized.
  • Liaise with catering services and outside vendors, supervising their requirements and logistics.
  • Promote the location and events through various marketing channels.
  • Supervise the operations of events and address any incidents or queries.
  • Communicate and enforce all security regulations and protocols.
Requirements:
  • Experience in events management, hospitality, or similar preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a venue or event manager preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Sound knowledge of safety measures and risk management strategies.
  • Great interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and leadership abilities.
Work Environment:
  • This position requires significant onsite presence at event locations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time during events.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.
  • Willingness to work indoors and outdoors as needed.
  • Averages 30 hours a week, but can vary.
