Job Summary:

As a Cook at Red Lobster, you will be responsible for setting up and stocking prep and line stations, cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils, and checking the quality and freshness of ingredients. You will also be responsible for prepping, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes, quantity calls, and specifications while maintaining portion control systems. Additionally, you will inspect food preparation and serving areas, tools, and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices. You may also be required to substitute for or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak business periods.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and stock prep and line stations
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
• Prep, season, and cook food according to recipes, quantity calls, and specifications
• Maintain portion control systems
• Inspect food preparation and serving areas, tools, and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
• Substitute for or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak business periods
