Position Overview

We are looking for a Product Owner to oversee, enhance, and manage our ERP platform. This role will act as the System Owner and Functional Lead, responsible for overseeing data flows, integrations, configurations, feature development, and technical support. The successful candidate will be tasked with gathering business requirements, managing projects, and providing leadership to ensure the ERP system aligns with organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and define system enhancements based on business requirements and technical capabilities.
  • Collect and analyze requirements from various departments to improve the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and validate integration points across the technology stack.
  • Document system gaps for the product backlog to facilitate future enhancements.
  • Prioritize and manage the backlog of bugs, feature requests, and enhancements.
  • Lead the development of new configurations and maintain supporting documentation for change management and user training.
  • Create business case documentation and financial justifications for initiatives, collaborating with IT leadership to set project timelines.
  • Document current and future business process requirements, including data flows and reporting needs.
  • Oversee testing phases for implementations to ensure systems meet stakeholder needs.
  • Provide support for new site implementations and major rollouts to ensure successful adoption.
  • Offer expertise in distribution and inventory operations for best practices.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of master data management to uphold standards across all entities.
  • Manage relationships with software vendors to ensure excellent service and responsiveness.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting support to minimize business disruptions.
  • Coordinate multiple projects, ensuring successful implementation and delivery.
  • Manage software version upgrades with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ERP system issues.
  • Oversee DevOps processes to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Facilitate scrum meetings to promote effective communication among team members.
  • Define and implement new features to support business growth.
  • Ensure cross-functional communication to align ERP initiatives with company objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with Enterprise ERP systems.
  • 2+ years in a Project Manager or Product Owner capacity.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in a SCRUM environment.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of leading projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with business and technical teams.
  • In-depth understanding of data requirements and flows.
  • Strong business communication and presentation abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects involving various departments and external partners.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management skills; highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive approach.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with integrations between SaaS-based enterprise systems and third-party stakeholders.
  • Background in software engineering.
  • Experience in business process management.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Notion, or Asana.
