About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft ERP Developer to join our Information Resources team at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our ERP system to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise in PeopleSoft development utilities, including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, XML Publisher, PS Query, and SQR reporting.
  • Lead testing efforts and ensure the quality of our ERP system.
  • Collaborate with business process owners and project team members to conduct fit/gap analysis and evaluate design and process choices.
  • Identify customization, interface, report, and conversion requirements.
  • Facilitate decision-making processes required to successfully execute project plans and contribute to the creation of accurate project plans and task lists.
  • Define user authorization requirements and participate in the resolution of problems, concerns, and issues.
  • Assist with the creation of test scenarios/scripts, coordinate testing efforts, and participate in testing of designed solutions.
  • Provide initial post-implementation support to end-users on the production system.
  • Coordinate with other resources to identify, document, and resolve issues and assist with data mapping and validation.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, provide project status reports, and participate in 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure timely support of the system.
  • Supervise lower-level staff, including Subject Matter Experts, Business Analyst Supervisors, Sr. Business Analysts, and Business Analysts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of business systems and/or project experience with exposure to systems or project development and testing, installation, and training.
  • Experience in analysis and testing, with the ability to lead testing efforts.
  • 5+ years of Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions technical expertise.
  • Highly skilled in PeopleSoft development utilities, including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, XML Publisher, PS Query, and SQR reporting.
  • Experience in test automation and load testing is a plus.
  • Must possess good technical documentation skills, including technical design and unit testing documentation.
