As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in acquiring new business and maximizing revenue by directly promoting FlexSteel's products and services to targeted prospects and existing clients within a designated region or market segment. The responsibilities of this position are diverse and require adaptability to changing market conditions. You will engage in direct sales interactions and development efforts, effectively communicating with all levels of client organizations, from field operations to executive leadership. Collaboration with FlexSteel's Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing teams will be essential for achieving success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and secure new clients within assigned segments, focusing primarily on small to medium-sized opportunities.
- Enhance relationships within existing accounts to foster growth and cultivate advocates for FlexSteel's offerings.
- Oversee the entire sales process, leveraging company resources such as marketing and engineering to develop solutions and deliver proposals.
- Concentrate on specific products and services while being open to presenting the full range of offerings when opportunities arise.
- Assess available opportunities and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- Facilitate the implementation of new clients by coordinating company resources and managing client expectations throughout the process.

- Provide accurate forecasts and updates on account plans and targets.
- Engage in cold calling to explore new business opportunities and applications for FlexSteel products.
- Ensure timely responses to inquiries and develop effective strategies for bids and proposals.
- Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions within assigned areas.
- Identify opportunities for expanding the regional customer base and create actionable plans to convert prospects into clients.
- Conduct technical presentations to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Address client concerns promptly and effectively.
- Complete required training and development objectives within designated time frames.
- Travel extensively within the assigned region to support client meetings and engagements.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales or technical experience in the Oil and Gas Upstream and/or Midstream sectors.
- Proven track record in managing both short and long-term sales cycles using a structured selling methodology.
- Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry, including upstream and midstream operations.
- Ability to think strategically and navigate client organizations effectively.
- Proficient in identifying and qualifying profitable sales opportunities.
- Capable of adapting to changing demands and environments.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Proven ability to build rapport with key influencers across all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated experience in the sales cycle and team collaboration.
