Billing Specialist

The Billing Specialist is a customer-facing role responsible for ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for multiple product lines of Aptean. We seek a highly energetic professional who drives value by streamlining global invoicing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Process invoices for assigned product lines and entities.
- Understand Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements and ensure SLAs are met.
- Participate in Finance integration and onboarding of acquired companies.
- Collaborate with Revenue, Renewals, and Collection teams to deliver exceptional results for our customers.
- Ensure timely processing of credit/debit adjustments and collaboration requests.
- Ensure compliance with controls and accounting procedures.
- Actively participate in internal and external audit activities.
- Ensure monthly closing deadlines are met.
- Work on special projects as requested.
This role typically requires 2-4 years of accounting, finance, or billing experience. To be successful, you should have:
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet required deadlines.
- Ability to think strategically and tactically, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to embrace change and work to achieve goals.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive results.
- Experience working with Sage Intacct and Salesforce.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
