Sales Director

AmericannMade is a leading vertically integrated cannabis company with a strong presence in California's market. We're looking for a seasoned sales director to join our team and drive revenue growth. As a trusted advisor, you will embody the qualities of a results-oriented leader, organized executor, and strategic ally. Your expertise in the California cannabis industry will enable you to navigate the complex landscape and identify opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Manage and oversee sales operations, including frequent meetings and trainings
- Hire, onboard, train, and develop a team of sales account executives
- Develop and cultivate relationships with new prospects and customers
- Act as a partner to customers, understanding their objectives, needs, and roadblocks
- Monitor costs and determine profitability
- Supply monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the executive team
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in the California cannabis industry
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar executive sales position
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
- A proven track record of defining and executing territorial management and expansion strategy
- Demonstrable ability in driving the sales process from start to finish
