Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Security Service Technician to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our security services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, installing, programming, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing a variety of security systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the customer's best service provider at all times, ensuring that we are their first choice for service.
  • Install, program, test, troubleshoot, repair, and service security systems and equipment, including security, intrusion, and life safety systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers, and be accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarize yourself with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures.
  • Operate systems to demonstrate equipment, commission new systems, analyze performance, and identify malfunctions.
  • Use solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
  • Consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation, maintenance, and warranty work.
  • Perform all work in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as company health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
  • Solid technical skills and experience in electronic security and intrusion systems.
  • Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.
  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision and be a self-starter.
  • Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude, including ability to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office applications.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
