Position Summary

Pantheon Data is seeking a Senior Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) Architect. This role involves the design of an Identity Access Management solution that ensures a seamless Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) experience for Sailors worldwide accessing personnel systems and the MyNavy HR portal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Significantly contribute to the global ICAM strategic roadmap while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Formulate policies, practices, and processes to facilitate effective security control design and implementation.
  • Play a crucial role in the selection and deployment of Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor, and Biometrics Authentication systems and tools, including integration and access control mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, program and project teams, and technology experts to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with approved designs.
  • Maintain comprehensive ICAM architectural diagrams, documentation, and roadmaps.
  • Incorporate resilience by design into ICAM technologies and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement through regular assessments of capability maturity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements, particularly in federal contexts.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Over 8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise ICAM Engineering, Architecture, and security control design implementation.
  • Strong understanding of Attributes Based Access Control (ABAC), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC).
  • Expertise in global ICAM security technologies and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Digital Identity Management and Identity Governance
    • Authorization ICAM services
    • Data Security Architecture and Data Protection Services
    • Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) solutions
    • Authentication and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions
    • Cloud-first and cloud-native architectures (including Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud)
    • Utilizing cloud services to automate infrastructure as code
    • Comprehensive understanding of IdAM / ICAM Services such as Authentication, Authorization, Identity, and Data Protection through Digital Policy
    • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platform access management, and IAM tools like Azure, Okta, EntraID, SailPoint IIQ, and password vaults.
    • Proficient in evolving ICAM and Privileged Access Management (PAM) technologies and capabilities.
    • Fluent in ICAM-related threat vectors and aware of emerging threats, with hands-on implementation experience.
    • Experience in aligning various systems and nuances on a global scale.
    • Familiarity with workstream tools such as Service Now, Jira, and Confluence is advantageous.
    • Ability to foster progressive evolution and maturity of practices in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with federal clients is advantageous.

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the capability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Environment

Hybrid work model.

Compensation Overview

The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $175,000, determined by experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
