T.W. Frierson Contractor, Inc. is a leading construction company seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support our team.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for providing administrative and coordinating support to Project Executives, Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and field supervision on construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce and distribute subcontract agreements, change orders, purchase orders, and purchase change orders to field supervision and process executed contracts.
  • Produce owner contracts and change orders in AIA software system and perform related data entry and storage.
  • Download drawings and specifications into Procore software system and log billings into billing tracking sheet each month.
  • Provide support to Project Managers on gathering backup information for billings and produce compliance reports twice per month for all active projects.
  • Call vendors of subcontractors to confirm payments and perform data entry of project estimates and approved owner change orders.
  • Work with project management to request receipt of project closeout documentation from subcontractors and produce O&M manuals for owners.
  • Send final lien waivers to project subcontractors and produce drawings for field supervision and/or project management as needed.
  • Take meeting minutes at subcontractor coordination meetings, pre-trade meetings, and owner meetings.
  • Provide front desk relief for breaks and occasional lunch periods and take minutes of bi-weekly project management meetings.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; minimum one year of work experience in a construction environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with competencies in business writing, grammar, and spelling.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and planning capabilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills with customer service orientation.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using a calculator.
  • Ability to produce quality work in an efficient manner with little supervision in an ever-changing environment.
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based applications.
