Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team at Cooper Steel. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with all phases of project management, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong understanding of project management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sr. Project Managers on Cooper Steel projects, processes, and procedures.
  • Work with Project Coordinators to understand job flow and document transmittal.
  • Clearly communicate with all onsite team members, subcontractors, erectors, and other personnel.
  • Learn to understand and work with Cooper Steel software and programs such as Raken, QuickBase, Tekla, etc.
  • Maintain real-time project timeline and data to be sent internally and to external partners.
  • Travel to job sites regularly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 02 years related experience (construction industry preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work together and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and strong computer literacy skills in general.
