Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at Gateway Recruiting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing training and support to users of our medical devices, ensuring they are used safely and effectively in various clinical and non-clinical research studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training and support to organ retrieval and transplant teams, ensuring they are proficient in the use of our medical devices.
  • Remote and Onsite Support: Offer remote and onsite support, including on-call duties for 15 days a month, to ensure seamless operation of our devices.
  • Site Initiation and Refresher Visits: Organize and conduct site initiation and refresher visits, training sessions, and centralized training events to ensure our devices are used correctly.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with transplant teams, internal management, and coworkers to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
  • Case Study Reviews: Create and write case study reviews with guidance from senior colleagues to document and analyze device performance.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks related to expenses, email, and other communication activities to ensure efficient operation.
  • Quality System Compliance: Ensure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items and follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high-quality work.
Qualifications:Essential Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: BS degree in combination with equivalent medical experience, with 3+ years' experience in ICU, ECMO, Cath Lab, OR, Transplant, and ED.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Highly flexible and willing to support sites as needed within and across North America.
  • Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent customer-facing skills.
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Advanced Education and Experience: Licensed RN, RT, RD, and/or a health science-related degree, with industry experience in pharmaceutical or medical devices.
